Dr. Darko Kostadinovski was born on November 27, 1974 in Skopje. By nationality he is Macedonian. Graduated from the Faculty of Law Iustinianus Primus in Skopje in 1997, in 2008 he became a Master of Law, and in 2012 he became a Doctor of Law. He holds a master’s degree in the subject of “International Arbitration in Contemporary International Political Relations (at the border of Law and Politics)” and holds a Ph.D. on the topic “Advisory jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice: Legal Consequences of the Court’s Advisory Opinions”.
From 2001 to January 2018, he works in the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Macedonia. Until 2010, he worked as an Assistant Foreign Policy Adviser, and Head of the EU and NATO Department.
From 2010 to 2018 he is a State foreign policy adviser.
From 2015 to January 2018, he is serving as a Republic of Macedonia special envoy in the Alliance of Civilizations of the United Nations.
On 11 January 2018, he was elected as a Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Macedonia.
He has taken part in numerous international and regional Summits, Conferences and Forums, in the field of international law especially in the United Nations and Council of Europe, as well as a diplomatic academy and training in “World Learning” in the United States.
