On the occasion of 10 December, International Human Rights Day, and the marking of the 60th anniversary, the Constitutional Court is releasing a video documentary dedicated to the role and significance of the Court in the protection of constitutionality and fundamental rights and freedoms. The video also includes a message from the President of the Constitutional Court, calling for the enhancement of legal culture, respect for human rights, and active civic participation.
The documentary provides a chronological overview of the events surrounding the establishment of the Court, presents the most significant milestones in its development, and explains its constitutional competences.
The aim of the documentary is to raise public awareness of fundamental rights and freedoms, highlighting the importance of the Constitutional Court in their protection. Citizens are offered a deeper understanding of their rights and the mechanisms through which those rights are safeguarded.
