The President of the Constitutional Court, Darko Kostadinovski LLD, held a working meeting with a delegation of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), led by its President, Mr Abdullah Eren.
During the meeting, President Kostadinovski expressed his gratitude for the continued support provided by TİKA to the Court, with particular emphasis on the donation of technical equipment aimed at the digitalisation of the Constitutional Court, implemented in September of this year. He underlined that the establishment of the possibility to record Court sessions represents a significant step towards increasing the transparency of the institution’s work, enhancing accountability, and strengthening public trust.
In this context, it was noted that investments in modern equipment and digital solutions directly contribute to the improvement of the Court’s day-to-day functioning and its openness to the public.
The President of TİKA, Mr Eren, confirmed the Agency’s readiness to continue supporting activities throughout 2026, with a focus on strengthening institutional capacities, the exchange of experiences, and the modernisation of working processes.
During the meeting, views were also exchanged on the joint initiatives implemented to date, as well as on opportunities for further deepening cooperation between the institutions of the two states, based on mutual trust and a long-standing partnership.
A shared conclusion was that cooperation at the level of constitutional courts, supported by TİKA, should continue, with the aim of further enhancing institutional capacities and promoting the exchange of good practices.
