Judges and Legal Advisers of the Constitutional Court Held Consultations on Public Speaking and Institutional Communication

The President of the Constitutional Court, Darko Kostadinovski LLD, together with judges and legal advisers of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of North Macedonia, held consultations dedicated to public speaking, institutional communication, and public relations, with the aim of enhancing public engagement and strengthening citizens’ trust in the Court.

Within the framework of the consultations, thematic discussions and interactive sessions addressed issues related to public speaking as a tool for institutional representation, the building of authority and credibility, and appropriate communication in sensitive public and media contexts.

The programme included practical exercises aimed at developing communication skills, with a particular focus on body language, voice control, rhythm and style of expression, as well as simulations of press conferences and public court proceedings. Special emphasis was placed on on-camera performance and the analysis of public communication in real institutional scenarios.

The consultations were conducted by Ognen Janeski, an expert consultant in public speaking and institutional communication, engaged through an EU IPA project. Through a practical and interactive approach, he enabled participants to receive concrete guidance on enhancing both individual and collective communication capacities.

In the concluding segment, through the analysis of recorded performances and the exchange of views, participants summarised the experiences gained and identified opportunities for the further improvement of the Court’s communication practices.

The consultative activity was carried out within the framework of a project implemented by the consortium Expertise Advisors and ICE EEG / GOPA PACE, funded under the EU IPA III programme, and was organised during the period from 12 to 14 December 2025.
