Elizabeta Dukovska was born in 1961 in Skopje. She is of Macedonian nationality.

Education


  • Graduated with a degree in Law from the “Justinian I” Faculty of Law in Skopje in 1987.
  • Passed the Bar Examination in 1990.

Professional Experience


  • 1 April 1990 – 1 January 1992: Legal Associate at the Basic Court of Associated Labour in Skopje.
  • 1 January 1992 – 1 July 1996: Legal Associate at the District Commercial Court in Skopje.
  • 1 July 1996 – 10 January 1997: Legal Associate at the Basic Court Skopje I – Skopje.
  • 10 January 1997 – 19 March 2004: Legal Associate at the Court of Appeals in Skopje.
  • 19 March 2004 – July 2007: Judge at the Basic Court Skopje I – Skopje.
  • July 2007 – 19 November 2009: Judge at the Basic Court Skopje II – Skopje.
  • 19 November 2009 – 10 April 2023: Judge at the Court of Appeals in Skopje.

  • Co-author of the Commentary on the Bankruptcy Law (1998).
  • Co-author of the Commentary on the Law on Trade Companies (2002).
  • President of the Commercial Division at the Court of Appeals in Skopje (2014–2017).
  • Author of examination questions in the fields of Commercial Law and Bankruptcy for the Bar Examination (2017–2018).
  • Participant in the IFC project for drafting a new Bankruptcy Law, held in Finland in May 2017.
  • Member of the Working Group for drafting the Law on Closure of Bankruptcy Proceedings.
  • Member of the Working Group for preparing the Draft Bankruptcy Law (2018).
  • Deputy Member of the Management Board of the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors “Pavel Shatev” (2018–2020).
  • Deputy Member of the Bar Examination Commission since 16 February 2022.
  • Lecturer on Bankruptcy Law at the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors “Pavel Shatev”.
  • Mentor for candidates of the 6th Generation of future judges within the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors “Pavel Shatev”.
