The work of the Constitutional Court is available to the public.
The Constitutional Court informs the public through its website about all news and events, and sends invitations to the media so they can follow the sessions. Journalists, representatives of NGOs, and the public can attend the sessions because of the availability sessions.
The Court continuously informs about the decisions after every session.
Hristina Belovska, the spokesperson and PR adviser of the Court, has been managing the website, as well as public relations and communication, since December 2021. The official Facebook profile of the Constitutional Court has been operational ever since, where you may find all information regularly.
The agenda is posted on the website one week before every session. The Constitutional Court sends mail reminders to the media one day before every session.
Since January 2022, the Court has begun to report on the new records derived from the initiatives and requests for freedoms and rights submitted by citizens.
The Constitutional Court organizes at least two press conferences per year to inform about its work from the past period. If necessary, the Court can hold other press conferences.
The Constitutional Court publishes an annual collection of decisions as a permanent source to inform the public about its decisions, resolutions, legal opinions, and positions.
Since 2003, all relevant information about the Court has been available on the website of the Constitutional Court such as the Constitution, the Rules of Procedure of the Constitutional Court, some other documents, historical information, legal bases and positions of the Court, information related to the composition and internal management, the Judges of the existing and former composition of the Court, international cooperation of the Court, public procurement, a complete list of all employees of the Court, as well as biographies and images of the Judges of the Constitutional Court.
One of the most significant elements of the website has been the case law database since 1991.
It means that every concerned individual has access to all decisions. The case law database is available in Macedonian, while some short summaries of the most critical cases are translated into English.
