As of today, the Constitutional Court is launching its new communication platform, “Discover the FACTS from the Constitutional Court,” designed to provide citizens, the media and the wider public with timely, accurate and official information.
The platform was created as part of the Court’s efforts to increase transparency, openness and accessibility of information of public interest. Its purpose is to provide verified facts and explanations regarding the Court’s work, proceedings, decisions and jurisdiction, while also contributing to the fight against disinformation, speculation and fake news concerning the work of the Constitutional Court, which have become increasingly frequent in recent months.
Through “Discover the FACTS,” the Court is strengthening its proactive communication with the public by providing a space where facts will be available and easy to understand. The platform will contain accurate and official information, explanations of decisions and proceedings, distinctions between facts and speculation, as well as simple explanations of constitutional and legal issues.
In addition to current content, the platform will publish information about the Court, its organization and jurisdiction, significant decisions from constitutional jurisprudence, as well as interesting facts from the history of the Constitutional Court and the development of constitutional adjudication.
In this way, “Discover the FACTS” will also serve as an educational space, contributing to the advancement of public and legal culture and to a better understanding of the Court’s role in protecting constitutionality, legality, and human rights and freedoms.
By establishing this platform, the Constitutional Court reaffirms its commitment to timely, accurate and responsible communication with the public, as well as its dedication to building trust through facts and official information.
