Expert Workshop on the Preparation of Legal Summaries Held with the Support of the EU Delegation

An expert workshop dedicated to the preparation of legal summaries of Constitutional Court decisions was held today at the Constitutional Court, with the aim of improving legal reasoning, standardising content and strengthening institutional transparency.

The training was delivered by Martin Sopronov, Senior Legal Expert within the EU project “Strengthened Capacities of the Constitutional Court for Reviewing the Constitutionality and Legality of Adopted Normative Acts and Protecting Fundamental Rights”.

During the workshop, guidance and templates for preparing legal summaries of Constitutional Court decisions were presented. Through practical exercises and the analysis of specific cases, participants had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the methodology for producing clear, precise and legally reasoned summaries of judicial decisions.

Particular emphasis was placed on improving the quality of legal communication, facilitating public and professional access to constitutional case-law, and developing a unified approach to the preparation of legal summaries.

The workshop forms part of activities aimed at strengthening institutional capacities and bringing the work of the Constitutional Court closer to the public through a clearer and more accessible presentation of its decisions.
