Judges Tatjana Vasić-Bozadžieva and Osman Kadriu Meet with the President of the ECtHR, Mr Mattias Guyomar

Judges of the Constitutional Court, Prof. Dr Osman Kadriu and Ms Tatjana Vasić-Bozadžieva, LLM, held a meeting with the President of the European Court of Human Rights, Mr Mattias Guyomar, in Strasbourg.

During the meeting, possibilities for future institutional cooperation were discussed, with particular emphasis on the development, training and enhancement of the professional capacities of the Court’s staff, as well as the exchange of experience in the field of human rights protection.

The participants shared common views on the importance and significance of continuous knowledge exchange and the sharing of good practices, as well as the implementation of joint activities between the European Court of Human Rights and the Council of Europe.

The meeting was also attended by Ms Svetlana Geleva, Ambassador and Head of the Mission of the Republic of North Macedonia to the Council of Europe; Mr Jovan Ilievski, Judge of the Republic of North Macedonia at the European Court of Human Rights; and Mr Abel Campos, Deputy Registrar of the ECtHR.

The meeting took place ahead of the official opening ceremony of the judicial year of the European Court of Human Rights, which is traditionally marked each year during this period by a thematic seminar, held on 30 January 2026.
