Solemn Hearing of the Judicial year of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg

On 27 January 2017, the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic
of Macedonia, Mr. Nikola Ivanovski and Judge Vladimir Stojanoski attended the
official opening of the Judicial year of the European Court of Human Rights in
Strasbourg. The event begаn with a seminar on the theme: Non-refoulement as a
principle of international law and the role of the judiciary in its
implementation“, which was followed by the solemn hearing to mark the opening
of the Judicial year, at which the President of the Court, Mr Guido Raimondi
and Ms Silvia Alejandra Fernández de Gurmendi , President of the International
Criminal Court, gave addresses.

Within the framwork of the visit the President of the Constitutional Court of
the Republic of Macedonia had meetings with presidents of several
constitutional courts as well with representatives of international
institutions and organizations
