Participation at the Official opening of the judicial year of the European Court of Human Rights, Strasbourg

Mr. Trendafil Ivanovski, President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic
of Macedonia and Ms. Tatjana Janjic Todorova, Advisor on International
Co-operation, on 29th January 2010 participated at the Official opening of the
judicial year of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. More than
150 representatives of the highest courts of Europe participated at the seminar
on the topic: “The Convention is yours” organized on this occasion. Speeches
were given by the Court’s President Mr. Jean-Paul Costa, Mrs. Françoise
Tulkens, judge elected in respect of Belgium as well as presentations by the
presidents of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands and the Supreme Court of
Croatia. At the solemn hearing which followed the seminar, President Costa and
Mr. Jean-Marc Sauvé, Vice-President of the French Conseil d’Etat addressed an
audience.
The President dr. Trendafil Ivanovski met with the President of the ECHR
Jean-Paul Costa, as well as with presidents of constitutional courts from
several European countries
