First-year law students from the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” – Skopje visited the Constitutional Court within the framework of the concluded Memorandum of Cooperation, as part of the ongoing activities with the academic community.

During the visit, the students were introduced to the historical development of the Court, with particular emphasis on its competences, including constitutional review of laws, other regulations and collective agreements, as well as proceedings concerning requests for the protection of rights and freedoms.

Through practical examples, the students became acquainted with the functioning of the Court. They were also presented with the Court’s website, including guidance on searching for decisions and rulings, following sessions live, and the possibilities for the electronic submission of initiatives.

This was the second group of students to visit the Court within a period of ten days, confirming the growing interest in constitutional judiciary.

The Court’s advisers, Magdalena Paunkova-Spasova, Majlinda Ismaili, and Larisa Milevska, delivered presentations on the work of the Constitutional Court. Through these activities, the Court continues to contribute to the advancement of legal education, openness, and transparency.
