Today, the Constitutional Court held an Open Day for citizens for the second time, as part of its initiative to promote greater transparency and direct communication with the public. The President of the Court, Darko Kostadinovski LLD, met with dozens of citizens who expressed interest in the work and competences of the institution.
Citizens sought information and clarification regarding cases of public interest, as well as explanations concerning the course of proceedings before the Court and its decision-making process. Discussions also addressed issues relating to the protection of human rights and the legal remedies available to citizens before the Constitutional Court.

A group of students from the Faculty of Law in Skopje also attended the Open Day, demonstrating particular interest in constitutional judicial protection, the competences of the Court, and the practical aspects of judicial decision-making. They were given the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the role of the Court within the legal system and the importance of constitutional judicial review.
Through such meetings, the Constitutional Court continues to enhance its openness and accessibility, enabling citizens to gain direct insight into its work and strengthening public confidence in the institution.
