The President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of North Macedonia, Darko Kostadinovski LLD, held a meeting today with the Ambassador of Montenegro to the Republic of North Macedonia, Zoran Miljanić.
During the meeting, mutual satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations was reaffirmed, and a shared commitment was expressed to further deepen these relations through the continued enhancement of cooperation in the field of constitutional adjudication.
President Kostadinovski informed Ambassador Miljanić about the Court’s current activities and priorities, with particular emphasis on the advancement of constitutional case-law, the protection of constitutionality and legality, as well as of human rights and fundamental freedoms, and on transparency as a key factor in strengthening public confidence in the rule of law.
The meeting also underlined the importance of the independence and autonomy of constitutional courts as an essential guarantee of the rule of law and the stability of democratic governance.
