Vangelina Markudova was born in 1956 in Gevgelija. She is Macedonian by nationality. She graduated at the Faculty of Law in Skopje – judicial stream, and passed the State Bar Exam at the Ministry of Justice. She had been working at the Executive Council of the Municipality of Valandovo (1981-1984); trainee and expert associate at the Municipal Court Gevgelija (1984-1986); Judge at the Municipal Court Gevgelija (1986-1996). She was elected a judge at the Skopje Basic Court I in 1996 where she had been working exclusively on criminal law cases. Upon the establishment of the Department for Fight against the Corruption and Organised Crime, from 2007 until 2013 she was working on organized crime and corruption cases.
She was elected a Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Macedonia in November 2013.
She speaks partially French.
